What’s New in SCAN4SAP 2023

We are thrilled to announce the release of the latest version of our software, SCAN4SAP Classic 2023, which brings exciting new features and improvements. Here are some highlights of what you can expect:

  • Enhanced Inventory Management: The Stock Finder Module now has the ability to accept barcodes that have encoded [Enter] characters, allowing for more efficient and accurate scanning of inventory items.
  • Streamlined Pick & Pack Processes: Packing Slips can now be automatically printed without user prompt during packing, and Packing Slips can also be added against posted Delivery Notes as an Update to the Delivery Note, improving efficiency and accuracy in the picking and packing process.
  • Improved Purchasing Functionality: Additional documents can now be printed when posting Goods Receipt POs from scanner(s), and Purchase Order lines can be filtered via configuration, enabling more tailored and flexible purchasing processes.
  • Enhanced Production Capabilities: A bug fix has been implemented to address issues with receiving Returns from Production in cases of line changes in the original Production Order. You can now also specify/change the returns from production location back into inventory – straight from the scanner.
  • Infrastructure Enhancements: The Web API has been enhanced to support additional security and encryption, which will be the default when using the upcoming SCAN4SAP PRO on Android.
  • Increased Automation: The latest version of SCAN4SAP Classic also includes increased automation capabilities, including support for automated item code replacement when a barcode is read and automated auto-retry to print in cases of temporary errors (eg disk or printer access temporarily unavailable).
  • Improved User Experience: To improve user experience, a bug fix has been implemented to reduce the time required to load a Pick List content on the scanner, and Capture Box Dimensions (length, width, height + weight) when Packing, which can also be saved in the Packing Slip that is posted against the Delivery Note.
